From the physical analysis, the cities are the result of several components and the building can be interpreted as one of them. This element is a component that explains the urban expansion and the environmental impact in urban areas.
On the other hand, the environmental impact of the models has shown that some Latin American cities have a high level of impact, due to high occupancy and high-rise buildings. However, these models are not a planning parameter in urban housing policies. Environmental impact models have no influence on urban policies and this fact makes cities unsustainable.
This site was created to promote environmental research and brings together academic and governmental work on the sustainable city, energy and the environment in different areas of knowledge.
